Product Documentation : Social Apps
The Social Apps tab on the Audience Management Platform is the place to select from a list of 12 self-serve applications to install on your Facebook Fan Page. Here you can also add a banner image, configure colors, set content limits and decide what your users can see and do.Applications include: RSS, Twitter, YouTube, File Sharing, Flickr, Photo Gallery, PDFs, Slides, Polls, Signup Form, Coupons, and Welcome Tab. Installing applications: Installing a social application can be confusing if you have to configure it yourself, but it doesn't have to be difficult. Deploying social applications on Involver's Audience Management Platform is simple! To install an application, click the “install” button which will then take you onto Facebook. Select the Facebook Page you want from the drop-down and continue. Please note: to add a page to social apps, you must be an admin of the page. This will ask you to fill in some configuration information which will differ by application. Once done, confirm the entered information and you will be taken to your Facebook page. Anytime you'd like to make edits to this application, you can do so from the Audience Management Platform. To edit the application from the Audience Management Platform, click on the page type you want to edit (i.e. Twitter, Coupon, Signup) on the far left. If it were a Twitter page, it would look as it does below. Content will vary by application. Essentially, editing applications will look as they do on the actual Facebook page, but instead are easily accessible from inside AMP without navigating away. Multiple Facebook pages can be added, which provides you the ability to edit multiple pages in one screen. Looking for Visual SML?
